Apple leather is a vegan bio-material made using apple waste from the fruit juice and compote industry in Bolzano, Italy. By using renewable resources, the fabric requires a lot less water and generates considerably less CO2 compared to other leathers and faux leathers.
Wood leather is made from thin sheets of wood bonded to a fabric using an environmentally friendly adhesive. To make the material pliable, small micro laser etchings are applied, leaving a soft leather-like touch. The wood leather reduces the kg CO2 emitted into the atmosphere by about 60% compared to a square meter of leather.
Organic Cotton has significantly lower impact on the environment compare with regular cotton. Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilisers, and build biologically diverse agriculture.
