Materials: The brand use a variety of materials, such as GOTS certified organic cotton, rayon (a fibre from regenerated cellulose, generally derived from wood pulp) linen and canvas. The materials are found locally to their producers in Belgium, Portugal and Turkey, reducing the necessity for transport between suppliers.
Production: The brand works solely with European factories (after a switch to be more conscious in 2020). The relationships with these partners are still building, as face to face meetings are challenging with travel limited due to the pandemic. However, SCRT do intend to meet face to face in 2022, and establish and consolidate their relationships with the many production tiers.
Delivery & Packaging: SCRT use recycled & recyclable plastic poly-bags, they’ll soon be adopting biodegradable. There are currently no plans for the brand to offset their delivery impact.
Use: Care information is shared with each product.
Responsibility: Internally, the brand use renewable energy, all paper products bought are recycled, and all team members commit to minimal travel. Furthermore, they use locally sourced materials with natural dyes wherever possible.
Disposal: SCRT currently have no end of life practice.
