Materials: Rotholz only use responsible materials such as organic cotton, organic new wool, organic merino wool and Tencel.
Production: Rotholz work with a conscious production agency who select suppliers based on positive practice. The organic cotton is farmed in Turkey, the fabric is produced in Spain & Portugal, the garments are produced in Portugal, buttons and zippers come from Germany, organic wool from New Zealand, the Yarn produced in Italy and knitwear produced in Germany.
Packaging & Delivery: The brand ship in recycled cardboard boxes and recycled polybags, they try to avoid plastic use, but reuse it as much as possible when necessary. They use a carbon compensation program for online orders and regularly donate to tree planting NGOs.
Use: Rotholz share detailed information on garment care on their website, they're also working on a concept to include valuable garment care information with each order.
Disposal: Rotholz are still working on their end of life practice.
Responsibility: Rotholz use renewable energy, ban plastic where possible, use bicycles where possible, recycle their shipping boxes. They do what they can, whilst donating regularly to One Tree Planted and Sea Shepherd.
